Halloween: Doki Doki Literature Club hides genuine horror behind its anime outside

Doki Doki Literature Club will not seem like a horror game, but those people who have played it understand just too well that appearances may be deceiving. It offers an overtly sweet, cutesy anime design, and masquerades as being a dating sim for which you, because the protagonist, join a literature club with four girls – a club which generally seems to include hardly any literary works and plenty of flirting aided by the waifus that is potential.
